Cheap Geek PC is a locally owned and operated business. We specialize in PC repair and custom PC builds. If you are in the Lagrange, Georgia area send us an email. If you are not within about 50 miles of us, you can still use the forums and how to sections for getting advice and help with your computer needs.
Be sure to check out the Cheap Geek Blog (above right). It is written so that even my mother-in-law can understand but it also has enough information so that even seasoned geeks can get something out of it.
Support in Language that Anyone can Understand
We know that not everyone is fluent in Geek Speak, so we strive to give
simple, easily understood advice and support through our forums and email.
If you are an über geek then feel free to assist on the forums.
The problem with most geek sites is that average people can't understand what we are talking about. Don't get me wrong, I love to sit and talk deep geek with some of my friends but when I do it around others they feel left out. My number one goal for this site is to be clear enough for the average Joe to understand, but deep enough that we geeks can fellowship.
A Geek Sanctuary
Lets face it, we geeks sometimes need an outlet. After helping our Aunt Sue uninstall the same spy-ware-filled screen saver of cute cats she found online for the forth time that month we need someone who understands us. That's where the forums come into play. A place where you can rant, discuss, or just type in all caps for a while. (or possibly help someone else's Aunt Sue uninstall a spyware-filled screen saver.)
